Walking Dead

I'm officially ready to Shane to go bye-bye. I'm just really sick of his over the top reactions to everything...I'd doubt that he makes past the next couple of episodes.

I liked the episode. Next week's episode looks pretty intense.

Anyone watch The Talking Dead? There was some fun facts on there and one was that the title of the series, The Walking Dead, actually refers to the alive humans rather than the zombies like I'm assuming most of us thought.

Tricky! We are all walking dead.

We find out that Herschel is a shooter tonight. Wonder if there is a back story on that.

Don't know about the back story, but it was cool to see Herschel take action and handled himself.

I also liked him telling Shane to keep his mouth shut. Yeah Herschel!

I'm wondering if they are going to send Shane out the same way he was sent out in the graphic novels. I agree. I think this season is Shane's last.

I do hope Andrea doesn't go out with him. I think I might be in the minority at least on this board, but I've enjoyed the evolution of her character.

If they stick to some of the plot points of the graphic novel, andrea wont be going anywhere shes one of the best shots.

Shane's going to be done this season. Everyone is looking forward to it I am sure.

(Isn't the rumor that the guy that plays Shane is being looked at for another TV series too? If that's the case, his character here is a gonner.)

-Still love Herschel telling him to shut his big yapper as well.

There is that rumor that he's going to play a detective in a L.A. Noir type of show. I did see an interview w/ Robert Kirkman last week and he was asked about that. He said that that way shooting schedules are set up, it wouldn't be hard for actors to have more than one gig.

I'd like to see Shane gone because of the tension that he's bringing, but that's exactly why he'll stay.

It does look like they might be moving on soon.

The pace of the show is so slow. I am still watching although losing interest very quickly. It's just boring as hell, they really need to pick it up a bit.

I don't need breakneck speed, but spending a whole season on the farm and basically nothing happening till the kid came out of the barn...just too slow for me.

I agree, the first half was boring, the second has been 3x better. I feel like waiting through all those boring story lines last fall is finally paying off.

Agree.

The safe harbor of the farm is great. I'd stay there if it were my own zombie apocalypse but it's a TV show folks. If the group isn't trying to find civilization and getting in zombie fights on the way there's no reason to watch. Time to get on the road and kill some zombies.

I like the allusion they just had in that last scene (SPOILERS............ when Shane and Rick are all "Yeah, it must be scratches" for the dead people who weren't bitten) - a big development is coming soon and that's a clue I bet.

Agreed.

I thought the same thing. We've got an epic battle on our hands.
