Walking Dead

Agree with the family thing, Hershel doesnt want them staying around so they wouldnt discover what they were hiding. Looks like on the next episode they escape somehow and terrorize. I have a feeling the story will pick up alot next week and someone important is going to die.

This episode had me confused. I swore that Daryl would find the girl this episode and he didnt, and the longer they go without finding her the more confident I am they will find her alive. Rick says that they are waiting for that little glimmer of hope that there is someone looking out for them.

I think he gave up on that when Carl got shot.

As for the pace of the show, I think some people are expecting it to flow like a movie. Remember, it's a tv show that I'm sure AMC wants to last for many seasons. The pace is just fine for me, but I'm partial to character development and not concerned with nonstop action.

Agreed. Even more than just tv, its more like a lot of cable series, that develop a lot of story arcs over multiple episodes (as opposed to network shows, most of which tend to be a lot more self-contained so people can jump in and jump out without being lost, keeping ratings up). A lot of stories developing, and it seems like something big could be coming next week.

I think Jenner told Rick that the they(the survivors) are the walking dead.

And what's up with Hershel? Does he expect Maggie to never have sex again?

Herschel's an *******.

Also, given the situation, his whole 'its my property, everyone do what i say' thing i think would hold a lot less weight. What's he going to do if they decide theyre staying, call the cops?

Maybe that's why he wanted to make sure none of the visitors were carrying guns on his grounds. I wouldn't be surprised if Hershel has of stash of guns and plans on bringing them out once the rest of them start to disobey his orders.

I agree. Problem is, I don't give a **** about any of the characters except Daryl. Their character development sucks.

The ****** writing and acting are definitely deficient. That is why the character development is a joke.

What does everyone make of the begining of the show tonight? Atlanta just getting shelled/bombed.

Anyone think that they will come out and show how people became zombies by the season finale?

If it follows the time line we should find out how the zombies came about eventualy, though i think we will find out some time by the end of the season how it spreads etc.

Great episode tonight! Can't wait til next week. Darryl is one of the most badas* people ever. And I agree with everyone on here that Andrea is my least favorite. She's too stupid and a huge liability for the group every time she tries to prove herself.

Anybody watch Hell on Wheels? Looks to be like a really good show. Enjoyed that episode as well.

I have a feeling andrea is eventually going to become a lot more. Did she **** up here? Sure. Had it been a walker though that wouldve been a decent shot, just barely missed.

Question on the show tonight though.... the intro flashback was pretty awesome, but if they bombed the city, why did it not look like itd been hit like that at all when they were all there early in season 1?

Seems like itd be a pretty ineffective thing to do too, its not like the zombies were confined to a small area. If they were going to go that far, might as well do as Umbrella did in the 2nd resident evil movie and nuke the place.

I think they were just Napalming it. That's why the buildings weren't all down and that would actually be better than just concussion bombs because of a larger spread.
