Walker injures knee, may return to K-State

He must be really ready to leave school if he is projected to be a 20th-45th pick and he still wants to leave as a redshirt freshman.

I bet he still goes to the NBA. My guess he is not in good academic standing and would not be able to play college next year.

I feel bad for walker - he is probably going to have play a few more years at K-State just to prove he can stay healthy.

Based on?

I could be wrong but wasn't it him that took a couple online classes the first semester to get by? So my guess would be that he didn't take many if any classes the 2nd semester. I could be wrong but I thought it was him that got by on iffy classes

WHB 810 in KC were saying that he is still looking at some guarantee (sp?) that the Pistons will draft him late in the 1st rd., even with the knee injury.

Wow he is asking for a lot isnt he. I dont think there is ever a sure thing in the draft.

That guy embarrased our post players OFTEN in Hilton last year. He litterally physically dominated us.

I hope he stays healthy because I'd love to see what he can do in the NBA. He's a freak of an athlete.

Walker is smart...he graduated from high school in 3 1/4 years. Now, that doesnt' mean he necessarily he got good grades in high school, but he should at least be passing, with that kind of brains.

Looks like we'll now get to see how good Martin is. He's got a lot of coaching to do to get the 08-09 team to be competitive in the B12.

Uhhh... what? Walker was a midyear arrival at K-State because he was in school too LONG and he exhausted his eligibility. Sorry but you couldn't be more wrong there.
