Without knowing any real details on what the ISU coaching staff is thinking on him, I would call this a win for the Hawks. I personally like to see ISU win some of the instate recruiting battles. I'm also sure that CMC is after someone else that he things is as good.

Sounds like him and his high school coach regret waiting so long because all the other schools filled up. His coach made it sound like the early signing period kind of screwed him over by waiting

I don’t follow football recruiting near as much as basketball. Can someone tell me why the number 62 overall player in the class is only a 3 star recruit?

He's #62 for JUCO players in the class.

Heard the same thing. He was hoping for an offer from Notre Dame, so wouldn't commit early. Like you said other schools moved on and filled up. He didn't get offered by ND and had to find someone to take him.

Would assume you’re referring to Will McDonald and if the questions him or Waggoner, I take McDonald every time. Better high school stats, only played football for two years, light years better athlete. Admittedly raw, but the kid has a ceiling that waggoner can’t touch. One prospect trending up and the other falling... pretty easy choice.
