Virgina Players Official Media Interview

Virgina players received very few questions about our team, style of play, or players. Found it really interesting. Meanwhile Georges and Monte were speaking like coaches when asked time and time again about the greatness of Virgina.

Who knows what will happen tomorrow, but our guys are so locked in! I know we'll give 110 percent. I know Virgina is a great team, well coached, and prepared.... However, I could see them being a bit shell shocked after Matty and Nader start bombing away thanks to Georges assists. I think we could jump on them like they haven't experienced all season.

Can't wait for the game!

I noticed the same thing with the interview questions.

"How will you ever defend, score and play against Virginia?" vs "Your coach is the George Clooney of basketball. What do you think?" :spinny:

Noticed that as well, Monte and Georges got lots of UVA related questions about either style of play or individual players. Towed the company line and seemed to be ready to roll. The UVA players only got asked I think 1 question about ISU period, the rest were fluff. Not sure if it means anything but all our guys have heard is how tough UVA is, how good they play the pack-line D and how tough the ACC is. Gotta be getting under their skin a little by now. I think they come out focused and with a little chip on their shoulder.
