Well supposedly there must be some cell phone video and audio…That's also just stupid. Williams tweeted it during the game. I'm sure TJ asked the managers after the game to confirm it. What other proof do you expect to exist? Possibly other witnesses, but they're all going to be biased as hell either direction.
This freaking guy.
I like how KState stokes this to get it out of hand and force a response and then acts incredulous about the response and suddenly now we're supposed to provide proofKansas State fans and media are playing this plausible deniability game now that this has gone national. Someone on the staff leaked it to the media and the fans ran with the narrative until it was time to put up or shut up. Now they are trying to deflect blame asking for “proof” of Tang leaking this after proclaiming ISU cheated while refusing to show their proof. FAFO time.
Wouldn't be surprised if Tang has some mild schizophrenia
I will say that if Tang was behind the leak to Kansas media, then he is the biggest chicken **** coach I have ever seen (and if he wasn't, whoever did is that). Can everyone who has been saying (including CW on the pod Thursday with Blum) they like Tang and think he’s a good dude admit they are wrong?
The guy reeks of tiny **** syndrome and whines non stop with a holier than thou attitude.
Just deflecting what’s going on on the court with his team.
This freaking guy.
The guy seems like a total fraud. Nothing he says or does comes off as genuine to me. He is a used car salesman. That’s a weighty accusation to place on anyone, but it’s pretty obvious he’s been going through some things. Especially if this is “out of character” for him according to KSU fans. He’s clearly been butting heads with the AD in some fashion, and the pressure to perform is probably affecting him in a very negative way.
I know I defended him in another thread but after the more serious accusations have come to light, I’ve done a complete 180 on him. He’s bad news.
I liked Weber. Mainly because he has one of the most epic GIF collections of anyone alive. He seemed like a decent guy, and kind of occupied that McCaffrey zone of coaching where he's just good enough to stick around for a while but also had a lot of pretty beatable teams.Weber was a goober, but I respected him. Tang is a douchebag and deserves no respect.
This whole this was never true. Maybe Tang listened to someone who made a really stupid assumption, but he is a head coach at a B12 university. You can't have it both ways, you can't let a rumor blossom like this, and then say, 'well we never said that...' well why did you let all those rumors get so out of hand? If Tang didn't believe it to be true, and he has as much 'integrity' as all the Kstate fans says he has, he should have stomped this out as soon as he found out it was BS. The no-comment on it doesn't put him on the 'integrity high road', it's just the opposite.I like how KState stokes this to get it out of hand and force a response and then acts incredulous about the response and suddenly now we're supposed to provide proof
It is now crystal clear why no one hired him as their head coach after he spent almost 2 decades at Baylor as an assistant.Tang is not mentally ready to be a head coach.
It's funny I don't recall TJ saying anything about Tang.I hope the league suspends Tang for these accusations and his garbage comments after their game today. He is a joke.
This would be the time for dci to do a warrantless search. Throw the geo fence up and expose TJ as the cheater he is!Well supposedly there must be some cell phone video and audio…![]()
So, Weber and his shaggy hair came into Allen Fieldhouse for the final time on Feb 22, 2022. Kansas State was 13-13, playing a No. 5 KU team that would go on to win the National Championship.
As the story goes, a non-coaching KU staff member noticed someone in a gray Kansas State shirt, allegedly filming the Jayhawks’ huddles from the stands during a timeout. The staffer told another KU Athletics employee who had a better view — and sure enough, they confirmed the suspicious activity. The individual was ejected by security, apparently without putting up any fight.
The identity of the filmer — a mere fan or something more nefarious — remains a mystery. The incident sparked speculation at the time that KState may have attempted to gain an in-game advantage by filming KU’s huddle.
This is one that drives me nuts. Reporters for reputable outlets aren’t going to use Twitter randos and just call it “unnamed sources” to write whatever they want. That’s not how it works, and this is a BIG accusation that would open the paper up to libel if they weren’t following journalistic ethics. I can’t imagine a reporter (or their editor) would allow themselves to get out over their skis like this. There’s no upside for them, and making something like this up or reporting it from bad sources is a career killer. Someone(s) from K-State’s staff talked, but on the condition their name wouldn’t be used, and it would have to be someone who would be in a position to know. It's the modern day media we're talking about. They probably read a few rumors on Twitter and passed it off as "unnamed sources". Anonymous Tweets or message board posts are good enough, no vetting required.
That never happens. This may develop into a case study of accusing someone doing something nefarious without any proof.
