***VEISHEA 2013***

I came to ISU in the fall of 05 so I missed the really crazy times, but during VEISHEA week there was rarely a sober moment within my group of friends. (granted if it wasn't for our student status, we likely would have been considered alcoholics..) Now I know the week is young & some of you wrongfully think this week is a marathon, not a sprint, but c'mon!

I expect this thread to get real messed up over the next few days so by the time I get back to Ames Friday afternoon, I can remember not remembering my college days like they were yesterday. All you young bucks have a huge responsibility in front of you - give us grads stories so we can live vicariously through you!

DON'T disappoint all of us who can't be there to enjoy it for ourselves. Go forth, conquer the city of Ames, & live a VEISHEA week that makes us proud!!!

Im just messing around... I cant really do anything, cuz I work three mornings this week, plus both mornings this weekend. FML.
 
Good lawd. Interview was a little rough. Downing beer now to recover.
No class tomorrow so gonna get a little crazy. Hopefully I can do State43 proud tonight!

Agreed. The sobriety on this message board right now is depressing. Granted it was only Monday.

Cyguy may have to carry the torch as the lone CF drunk. Can you handle that responsibility?

Nothing too juicy as far as VEISHEA goes.

Buddy made 300+ jello shots, 30 are left over. I have had bad experiences so I only took one. (PS, if you are a member of the group of ISU fans who saw a 21 year old man in a red sweatshirt lose a blueberry-tequila syringe style jello shot along with the other contents of his stomach in the middle of Beale St at midnight on New Years Eve, my apologies)

Either way, everyone was super trashed. Went with the usual Admiral Nelson/Coke Zero combo. Made some drinks. Used a shot glass to measure them out, but the shot glasses ended up being 3 oz instead of 1.5 and we didn't notice until too late. I would've gotten sick eventually if my GF didn't start getting sick and I had to take care of her.

4 people I know of got sick. I haven't been this hungover in a long time. Wish I would've just gotten sick.
