We got back from Vegas about 1:00 this afternoon, but i've been catching up on my sleep:biggrin: Just wanted to say the Cyclones looked VERY good this weekend. They played as a team and looked like a real big 12 team. Everyone contributed in one way or another, which was good to see. Our guys played their hearts out against Alabama, but they were just too good (and big)! Their whole team looked like football players! The guys all played well, and it makes me more confident going into conference games.

Congratulations to Jiri and Rahshon for making the all tournament team!!!!:notworthy:
 
i was at the tourny as well and thought we looked pretty decent but our defense down low wasn't very good against Bama granted there guys were like oak trees but our bigs need to find a way to stop bigger post players or the big 12 will eat us up. other than that our offense exploded and we looked real solid all in all the future is looking bright
 
One question Cyfan13, are you hooked on Cyclone Fanatic yet? Come on you know you are. Anyways, Happy holidays to all!
 
The tournament was fun. I attended 6 of the 8 games. (much easier to watch with a lil cash on the line)

We caught Alabama at the wrong time. If we played them the night before, we beat them. They did not shoot that well against MSU.

Purdue has a couple really nice freshman. I feel sorry for those who couldn't make the games or watch them because they missed some of the best dunks of the year by Clark, Brackins, Jiri, and Wes.

I agree...Especially Jiri's cause you don't see that from him much!

I haven't seen the game online, but from what I heard on the radio, we played really well against a hot shooting team in Alabama. I don't know how we were all tied at 40 in the first half when they didn't seem to miss any three pointers. I am proud of our team. Now, let's beat the next teams and finish our non conference season strong. Go cyclones.
 
We also got back yesterday from Vegas, was a great time for us. Anytime the clones come out West we will always be there. Have attended many games in Lubbock over the past 10 years (Football and Bball) also UNLV games and some CU games.
I saw a huge improvement since we attended the OSU game a month ago, we won ugly in Corvalis. Bama was a seasoned team shooting lights out SUnday, they were much better against us than they were against Mizzou State on saturday. Frankly the team is buying into G-Macs system finally. A .500 season in Big 12 will be huge for building next year's team.
 
I got 4VR4CY a #13 jersey for Xmas. She is only disappointed that Rahshon wasn't in it when she got it.:wideeyed:

Coaching is something Rahshon would like to do. He would be a GREAT recruiter!
 
What do you think the chances of any video highlights being available? Since it was only webcast, my guess is "more like...1 in a million."

So I'm saying there's a chance.
