UT paid refs off

The bias for Texas was out in full force tonight both from the announcers and the refs. Don't think they were paid off though.
 
Derosa has a way of influencing every game he is involved in. Not a surprise this one was so uneven, with all the hype about it being a must-win for Texas.

I'd certainly agree with the announcers! From pregame they were jurking off Texas! We shot 9 FTs they shot 24, a little lopsided? Yes. Were they paid off, doubt it.
 
I agree the refs were a little questionable but let's not kid ourselves. If we show up to play tonight it doesn't matter. We win comfortably by ten and gear up for Mizzou. Instead we go through the motions and our left wondering if we can avoid an 8 seed and if we can even win in the big dance anyway. Did I feel it was good officiating? No, but that isn't the reason we lost.
 
The Big XII issues paychecks to those refs and the Big XII makes more money when more teams dance. Call it what you want but there was apparent favoritism tonight.

Anybody who blames the refs for a loss are ******* idiots. We were up 11 2nd half and decided to head back to Ames early.
 
Anyone who thinks the referees called things anywhere close to even are complete ******* idiots.

As soon as we got up 11 refs let UT back in by calling something on us every time down the floor it felt like. We certainly had our own issues, but if you match us and our blemishes against Texas and theirs, we still win unless the refs call it like they did.
 
Could the Big 12 get some better refs going forward for next year? They were so inconsistent, it took away from the game.

This is not the point! The point is, regardless of what the refs did, we played sloppy! We played uninspired and we didn't do what it takes to win night in and night out in the Big XII! Period! Refs may have been bad, I'll give that to you. But you have it give it to me that we didn't play well enough to win...
