I didn't realize how young we would be at WR and LB this year.

I didn't realize how young we would be at WR and LB this year.

I think getting a kid like Meeks in early is huge. A LB that may not start on defense this Fall but could be needed for special teams. Two deeps at WR, LB and QB are going to be very young.

Wow, that LB corps is young. This year, I was disappointed we did not finish 7-5, even with a tough schedule.

Next year, I think I will be OK with 6-6. Hopefully we are headed in the right direction and can have a break-out year or two soon, but schedule once again is tough and that is a young squad.

Hopefully with the majority of players being in the program for five years ISU will continue to have smaller classes. The coaching staff will be able to concentrate recruiting on fewer quality players rather than having to fill numbers.

Broomfield should be listed at LB instead of S.

Think Luke Knott is moving to LB as well. Tribune jumping aboard helps fill out the defensive backfield recruits as some from there are moving to LB positions (if their bodies, thru training, can help make the transition).

Nice chart. Team is young but the OL section is reassuring. Not that I think they were great last year, but it seems good to have the depth shown.

Just depends on of you want to classify the hybrid spot as a safety or LB. We call it Hybrid for a reason.
