Yeah, my guess is that poster has never been to Ames (you know, since it's consistently on top 10 lists for best towns to live in America). However, I have been to Vegas. The strip, it's awesome. Nothing in Ames or really the midwest in general can top that. Once you get off the strip, be prepared to get stabbed by a crystal meth tweeker. That town is a piece of **** once you get off the strip.
Would love to play UNLV in the tourney.
Does 8th place in MWC get an a****id?

At least most traffic confrontations don't result in neighborhood shootouts in Ames. Jeez, LV, crazy mom and crazy guy shooting it out over a fender bender. No need to involve the police when both parties are packing. Freakin' wildwest.

Hey, it isn't their fault. The Mountain West is just a tough conference to try and run an NBA offense. Just so much defensive talent in the league.
Because most of us don't feel the need to act like jilted exes because an 18 year old went to UNLV. There is absolutely zero reason to care about how a bad Mountain West team is doing. Watching their scores to cheer for losses is like checking an ex girlfriend's facebook 20 times a day in hopes they lose their job and get fat.

I think people are capable of doing more than one thing at once. So I can certainly enjoy UNLV sucking in their already ****** conference.
CPECH - you just said the one thing i dont think they will have.... Time..... Dave Rice is on the hot seat, was coming into the season and everything settled when he got the recruiting class. But, if and i think it already is a done deal, they fail to get the post season he will be in trouble. Dont be surprised if Rice is gone and so is Vaughn in the offseason!
This team needs time? Almost 3/4 of the way through the season and they are losing to teams like Air Force. That program is so disfunctional it's funny.
