We always pick up as much a possible and leave a good tip when eating with our kids. Each of my sons spilled about a half a bag of popcorn the last time at the theater. We picked up as much as we could in the dark feeling around on that sticky ass ground.

Always clean up even if the workers say you don’t have to.
I think the attitude reflected by the pitcher and his wife here is in line with most of the people who go to movies and just leave all their drink cups/popcorn mess/candy wrappers all over the seats and floor because “they have people to clean that up.” Good lord, people, carry your trash out the door, the garbage cans are right there for you.

Add "tipped-over cups of melted ice cream" and you've described the arena circle/floor seats at Hilton.

Curious as to what everyone here does if they get peanuts at a football/basketball game.
Shells 100% go on the ground. You allow me a product that is 50% mess without a bag or cup for the shells then that’s on you. Also stadiums really make it difficult to throw things out in a conscientious way after games

People are the rudest and most entitled when they feel like an airline “owes” them something that wasn’t their fault.

I've seen a lot of videos lately where people try to guilt others into giving up their seat for them so they can sit together or so their kid can have a window seat or something. Your lack of planning is not someone else's (who booked that specific seat) responsibility.

And of course when there are people split apart they're never asking the person next to the lower-priced seats to switch with them up to the higher priced ones.

Still trying to figure out how they "made" her clean up the popcorn. Maybe asked her "Would you be so good as to clean this up a little?" Seriously, how many really rude flight attendants have you ever had confront you about anything when flying? These people are tweeting away like she was assaulted.

Yeah, this is what I want to know more about before i'd commit either way. There's a lot of potential for 'both suck' here.

Hell my kids make enough mess at home that I make someone else clean it up here too.*

Seriously. There's somehow splatter on a 10ft ceiling.

* it's me, the someone else is future me or enough sighs and pointed glances to make spouse do it.

It’s a bit of a mixed bag. I get being mad about picking up after them, but to an extent it’s your job to clean up the plane. But at the same time you’re also just a piece of **** if you let your kids make a giant mess and don’t try to clean up too. Props to the flight attendant.

I actually was asked to switch into an exit row on a B777 so a guy could sit by his wife in a worse seat. I asked this guy 3 times if he was sure and he agreed.
