UNI over Colorado

It was a good win for the Panthers. I don't see why teams don't press them more. They seem to struggle with it for as long as I can remember with Jacobson.

I'm so glad we're done with UNI and Drake in basketball. Now just to drop these losers in Football. Plenty of ****** FCS schools that don't blow their load year round over the idea of beating ISU.
I just wish ISU and Iowa didn't have to provide AD wellfare to the UNI AD. It doesn't irritate me as much in sports where we win, but watching their wrestling team beat ours last year using our money does raise my BP.

So, you must really be pissed about paying ULM over double what ISU paid UNI in football for a less attended game. Same goes with Mississippi Valley State or UMKC or Purdue Fort Wayne or Florida A&M, ISU paid each of them over $75,000 while not ever paying UNI a dime in basketball over the years. Also, UNI and ISU are in the same conference in wrestling so money, obviously, doesn't exchange hands there either.

Or are you one of those in depth state budget folks that panics that .0004% of your tax money goes to majority low income and minority students to allow them to go to college? BTW, 81% of minority students that come to UNI from out of state on athletic scholarships STAY in Iowa after graduation. Also, the salaries of Ben Jacobson, Mark Farley, Doug Schwab, Bobbi Petersen and 80% of Tanya Warren are all privately funded. The General Fund money that UNI takes is literally an accounting measure in which it goes right back to the General Fund for scholarships.

Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox but this always annoys me. UNI serves a different mission at a different level and some recognition of that is important.

Uni looked good again tonight. They might be the best team in the state this year. Balance scoring and have scorers. Historically under Jacobson if they have scorers they have a great year.

UNI really showed that 4 win 8 loss team!

He may or may not be a troll just looking for attention, but after that "effort" last night against the Hawks I think with the way both teams are currently playing that UNI is clearly better right now. Doesn't mean it will stay that way throughout the whole season, but right now I think it's hard to argue otherwise.

I wish we were playing UNI this year. Getting blown out by a Valley team at Hilton may light the fire that's needed. They would kill us.

I get what you're saying but how much more fire does this team need to induce change? If last night's crapshow didn't do it, I don't know what will.

ISU could drop UNI in football and schedule NDSU. Of course they would get humiliated at home.

Damn near lost to Drake, um.... it gets no easier than that. They are DIII by any real measurement

since they don’t play in basketball anymore there is no aid there.

UNI football brings in sellouts and ISU pays far less to them than what low level MAC team would cost

I had no intention to get attention on what I posted. It is a legit comment. Hard to argue it at this point.
