UNI beats Creighton in Omaha

BIG win for the Panthers. It had been a LONG time since UNI beat Creighton, either at home or on the road. Even McD's best UNI teams never beat Creighton.

As a Jays fan (CU is a distant 2nd to ISU), I am extremely disappointed in how this team is playing. Just as inconsistant as ISU. And rebounding...it all comes down to rebounding.

Does that mean your a nebraska football fan?:jimlad:

The worst part of about going to a game at the Qwest is knowing that any other day of the year, you would hate 99% of the people cheering for the same team as you. But I like Altman, so I put up with it.

Well as long as your IQ isn't suffering from being surrounded by them I suppose it can't be that bad.

Really satisfying win tonight for the Panthers. UNI has won at SIU and at CU in the same week, ending long losing streaks there.

This team has really started to play well in the last 5 games after a pretty poor non conference season.

UNI beats Creighton in Omaha, 69-66

Maybe we should hire UNI's coach?

Oh, wait, we already did that.

Never mind.

Ehh not that funny, already a topic on it as well. Theres a search button towards the top of the page...maybe you should look for it?

According to a few Creighton players, the CU/ISU scrimmage favored CU. In fact, I mentioned the two teams had a common opponent and I believe one player called ISU a "bad" team.

I disagree with the posters' assessment of the Qwest, I think it can get very loud at times.

Also, Creighton's attendance is amazing. I went to a holiday break game at Hilton and they actually announced over the PA to come fill the empty lower bowl seats. On the other hand, Creighton had nearly 18,000 fans for a game one or two days after Christmas. Where has Hilton Magic gone?
