UNC it is.

By the way, that rounds out 3 5star recruits in North Carolina's class. Oh well, play there 1 or 2 years, and disappear into NBA obscurity (see Brandon Wright, Marvin Harrision...)

Wow... A lot of people need to grow up here. HB handled the situation as well as he possible could given the situation. It was always a long shot for us.

I'm super disappointed that he's not a cyclone player, but I'm not going to rag on a 17 year old kid. The fact of the matter is that any of us in that situation would make the best decision for ourselves, but I doubt many of us would handle it with as much class as HB.

I wish him the best, I really do. But I still don't get why they chose to invite the public to hear him declare for UNC. Get everyone's hopes up and pull the football away at the last second to leave us flat on our backs.

I still don't think he ever really considered ISU. More than likely, he did it because he really is a good kid and didn't want to hurt us.

Look, if it wasnt going to be ISU, a barbie parade was not necessary. The whole thing was build on teasing, expectation, anticipation. And then you get kicked in the nuts. If it was not going to ISU, he could have respected enough to have done this more quietly

What a jerk. Invite the public in there knowing full well it would be a cyclone crowd and then select Roy Williams. We were used by this young man and this press conference was just another example. He used out facilities and our players to make himself better and then went to good old cheating Roy.

Why? Huh?

ISU has done more for him at this point in his life than any of the colleges he could have picked. Period.

Sorry if it offends you, but people have every right to boo as much as they cheer. Don't like it? Don't step on the court.
Sour grapes. Would you rather Greg not offer him the use of the facilities and us have 0 chance at him? No, you'd ***** because he didn't go after a top recruit in his own backyard. Should Harrison have turned down the opportunity to play with ISU players or on ISU courts? Ridiculous.

If people want to boo him when he goes to UNC I don't care, but to boo him because he didn't choose your school is pathetic. But, as I said, I already expected it.

The only problem I have is with the whole press conference thing.

Hopefully he can eventually be drafted by the Lakers so he can win an NBA title without trying there either. Christ, doesn't anyone want to try to help build up an underdog? I'm going to go watch Hoosiers now.

It is definitely his life to live. I don't begrudge him for doing what is best for him, but he could have spared the local fans a lot of disappointment by doing this in a private fashion. He is certainly smart enough to realize how disappointing this would be to the local community.

I can just imagine the howls of protest from people who'd think they have a right be such a momentous occasion. Also, I think this really went beyond him to an extent. In today's interconnected world, it was more than the people who were there in person. If you weren't there, why would/should it personally affect you? No one was forced to watch or listen, and it wasn't our money paying for the event.

I hope we don't hear anything more about HB using our practice facility anymore. He's got AHS and he's now got NC - doesn't need to use ours anymore.

Completely agree. We may face them down the road in the NCAA tourney, as we did the last time we were there. He is now the enemy (basketball-wise).
