Ugly uniforms....

These posts pop up after every loss, it's annoying. Our X sucks!! Coach X is an idiot!! Blythe!! Fade!! OMG's!! The sky is falling!!

I guess some people can't be happy unless they have something to complain about every week in regards to our team.
 
That's the first time we've worn gold pants/white jersey this season. The Toledo, Nebraska, and Tech games were all red pants/white jersey.
 
One reason uniforms DO matter is that you have 18-year-old kids you're trying to convince to play for your program. You don't think a fair number of those kids pay a little attention to the threads they're going to have to wear out there? I'd rather hear a kid say, "Well, you have little tradition, a cool climate, but kick-butt uniforms" than "You have little tradition, a cool climate, and yo unis be ugly, too!" Why give a kid another reason to play somewhere else? We have plenty of those already.
 
I was at the game today...the unis looked great to me. I don't know what you are all talking about. They weren't much different that the throwbacks, only a red helmet.

gold yes, bright yellow without any major element of yellow on the rest of the uni...bad. The new ones are sweet...no doubt about it and they look oldschool even better. But the yellow pants this year don't fit in with the jersey or helmet and just look cheap.

How about your fashion statement on how coach Chizik was dressed. Did you like his shoes, was his shirt the right accent for his pants? Jeezzz....

how about yours...you seemed to have an opinion on the uni's too or why bother with this thread. Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......

What is wrong with wanting our team to not be winning the espn worst dressed award. We should look good out there not like we got two different teams hand-me-downs and threw them together.

I agree with you. The couple people I have talked to thought the unis looked pretty good today.
 
And next year when you see highlights, you'll think USC was on.
 
I liked the throw backs but the yellow pants as opposed to gold dont loko so great. To be completely honest though, we could go out there in pink and powder blue and I wouldnt mind as long as we were winning, what we look like doesnt bother me compared to what our play looks like.

I guess I can count myself in the minority when I say that I liked them....let's just call it a preview for next year.
 
Our uni's lookfine to me and are NOT UGLY!! ISU uni's are better looking that eiu, mizzou, kansas, kstate, colorado, baylor, okie state, texas tech, okla, and those god-awful brown things from texas!!!!


So their you go my young friends...Our uni's look better than most in our conference and they are certainly the best in this state...

This is a topic this week? Haven't we played 8 games in those unis?
