Tyrese Hunter PG '21 - Committed!

That’s true. Hopefully this team can progress enough through the year that adding a great PG would be enough. Right now we cant shoot or rebound.
How can you come to the conclusion they can't shoot? They have played 2 games shooting pretty well one and not good the 2nd?

A great PG can definitely make everyone better, but expecting Hunter as a true freshman to be the savior is probably unrealistic.

The other thing, if ISU is going to make the jump from the bottom 3 to top 4 or 5 teams in the Big12, we must see a big improvement at the 4/5 positions. Solid teams have All-Big 12 players in both the post AND perimeter.

I am hopeful Hinson or Dubar can be that solid 4 position player. But we seem to be a long way to having a 5 player that can compete at an All Big 12 level. I was hopeful this season we would see a huge jump in Conditt's game, but haven't seen it. Too soon to tell on Foster. He has the tools, but effort and determination will decide his upside.

I wish we had him this year

I thought there was a rumor on here he could graduate this month/come in this spring.

I guess that is not the case after all.

A guard like him would really help with what ails us.

We are probably still going to be bad, but less bad with him around.

xavier, hinson, javan, rasir, hunter - that's a fighting chance. plenty of minutes for hunter from a coach who sends PGs to the league - can sell tyrese hunter on staying the course and giving it a shot.
That's not bad. Harris off the bench as a shooter and a spark. I think Xavier needs to get a lot of minutes this year. Take his lumps and develop.
