Tyrese got PAID

The great thing for Hali is with it only being a 5 year deal, I'd imagine he has at least 1 more big contract coming his way. With the way he plays, assuming he's healthy, he will have a very long career.

Curry and Lillard might not be the classic definition of a PG but they're primary ball handlers. 7th does feel low though.
Here's who he has in front of TH:

6. Kyrie
5. Ja
4. Lillard
3. SGA
2. Luka
1. Steph

You could make an argument he should be higher, but its not like he's clearly better than any of those players. You've easily got 4 HOF players there.

An unbiased mind could even throw LaMelo in there. Lot of elite guards in the league right now

LaMelo and Tyrese are both much more pure point guard than a few of these names.

If Luka is a point guard you might as well put Jokic on the list too. What's the criteria? Guy who runs the best offense in the world and is possibly the greatest passer of his generation isn't a point guard but Doncic is?

I truly believe if the criteria is "pure point guard" in terms of the way Magic played running an offense as a clear pass-first player who can get up and down the court regardless of size that Tyrese is the best in the world.

More Tyrese highlights with team USA in another tune up game. Slovenia without Doncic but they still have some nice players.

Brunson is really playing great for them too, the offense is a handful when one or the other is pretty much always running things. An opponent will need to get hot shooting and take advantage of their defense to have a chance.

Tyrese and Conditt highlights. Tyrese mostly setting guys up but really pushing it in 4th quarter when they blew it open. Conditt really looking good in spots.

Seeing this made me remember how much I liked Conditt as a player. Not polished offensively but the type of guy who was great on defense and could get a bucket as a rim runner or off a rebound. Great passer. Just played with a freedom to make something happen.

That’s kinda what I hope Omaha is this year. Not someone who thinks they have to score 20/night, but flies around making plays on defense and offense. But saying that reminds me we already have big rob and tre king who should be that type of player too so now I wonder if Omaha should be focused more on offensive scoring. Might help (scoring is obviously our biggest weakness, LOL) us the most and his draft stock too.

Here are the live stats for the US-Greece game: https://www.usab.com/gamecast?id=1649

Tyrese is having an okay game, currently has 6 points with 4 assists, a couple of rebounds, and a couple of steals, but also has 4 turnovers.

But I really wanted to note that former Iowa State fan favorite Georgios (Giorgos) Tsalmpouris is on the Greek National Team. He has no points in 4 minutes as of right now. It looks like he's had a reasonably good career in Europe and was most recently playing in Spain's top league.

This was a sick move. I’ve seen fans calling him “skinny magic” or ”little Magic” and it’s from moves like this. There are some similarities in how graceful and creative he is with the ball.

Also crazy to see Tsalmpouris come off end of bench for Greece and get the ISU Hoiball mention.

Big George has carved out a relatively successful career for himself in Europe. He just signed with a team in the Spanish La Liga, which I'm sure you know is probably the second-best basketball league in the world after the NBA. Pretty good for what once looked like a baby giraffe waddling around Hilton.
