Not my words highlighted below...Dog Food Advisor rates the different ProPlan formulations between 2.5 and 4 (out of five). ProPlan is considered to be the best Purina offering. Personal experience with 8 different hunting dogs over the years with various dog foods, including ProPlan, made me go elsewhere. There are many alternatives that are better at equal or less cost. Some folks like ProPlan. Each to their own.
The second ingredient is corn gluten meal. Gluten is the rubbery residue remaining once corn has had most of its starchy carbohydrate washed out of it. Although corn gluten meal contains 60% protein, this ingredient would be expected to have a lower biological value than meat.
The third ingredient is rice. Is this whole grain rice, brown rice or white rice? Since the word “rice” doesn’t tell us much, it’s impossible to judge the quality of this item.
The fifth ingredient is poultry by-product meal, a dry rendered product of slaughterhouse waste. It’s made from what’s left of slaughtered poultry after all the prime cuts have been removed. In addition to organs, this item can also include feet, beaks, undeveloped eggs and almost anything other than prime skeletal muscle.
The sixth ingredient is corn. Corn is an inexpensive and controversial cereal grain. And aside from its energy content, this grain is of only modest nutritional value to a dog.

Dogs need balance like we do. In the wild they go for the stomach and typically they would be eating herbivores. I don't disagree with your assertions about quality of ingredients but it seems as though you're against grains for canines?
Good thing I bought a bunch of his rookie cards when I did.
I just hope Tyrese can stay healthy. He is one for three so far in terms of playing a full season. If a small market team like Indiana is sinking this much cash into one player, I'm not sure how they're ever going to compete unless they kill it building with young, cheap players. Happy for Tyrese on a personal level though.

I don’t think rankings can take into account intangibles like character, heart, and drive.Also like with Will McDonald, we all love recruiting rankings but sometimes its a good reminder its not an exact science

Friend who worked security at Hilton back then always stressed what good people Tyrese and his dad were to him from the very beginning. Hoping that foundation is so strong that the money never changes the wonderful human being he is
I suppose it's market value, but if I was management, I'd have some sleepless nights until we see how this pans out.
I think Tyrese is a great guy, but as soon as he stepped onto the court, it was obvious he was a special talent. Even on a team full of "All-Stars", commentators were saying "Wow, that Halliburton kid is special." He should have been at least a 4-star. But chalk one up for Prohm.
Since landing in Indiana he has very consistently produced as a top 10 offensive player in the NBA. Combine that with his age and no question whatsoever he is a max contract guy. Only possible question mark is injuries, but that’s a potential disaster for any franchise player.
With any young player, attitude and work ethic are also unknowns. It's just impossible to know how anyone will be able to handle that level of success. The greats stay hungry year after year. That's what makes them greats. That no criticism of Tyrese at all. I would say the same thing about any young player. But as I said, that's evidently market value so teams are willing to take the risk to keep top talent.
I think the point being that spending big money on Tyrese is less of a risk because he does seem to be a good kid. I’d be shocked if he ever got into trouble for being stupid with a gun or anything like that. Injuries are a risk for almost anyone. That doesn’t mean he shouldn’t get paid.
He’s not any more a risk than any other franchise player. And I’d suggest he’s less of a risk than a lot of them.

It's almost hard to remember now that TH and Niang didn't play together at all. Almost seems like they are from the same era especially because their personalities are kind of similar. Man though, we have some good young players in the NFL and NBA that are extremely loyal to ISU.
