So, let me get this straight;
A: ISU has two returning players that played in more than 10 games last year?
B: ISU has 1 player that has played more than 3 years at ISU
C: ISU has 11 players on the roster
D: ISU has (currently) 10 eligible players
E: ISU has 21.2 points per game returning.

This could be interesting.

Is this correct? By my count, we have 10 players on the roster, with 9 of them being eligible (Babb having to sit out).

I sometimes cannot believe how far our program fell under Gmac. I guess he's a nice enough guy, but he was the equivalent of a nuke going off in our bball program.

My only fear is that the program has fallen so low, that no matter how good Hoiberg is, he won't be able to bring our program back from the grave.

As bad as things seem, we still aren't really that far from being in contention for conference championships, etc. All we need is a few solid recruiting classes, player development, and fan support. We already have the fan support, and the other two are the coach's responsibility. Hell, you don't even necessarily NEED fan support - Just look at Baylor. They have none, and they had a helluva mess down there. Look at 'em now. Shady or not, they're very good, and we can/will be too (sooner or later).

Who hired who hired GMAC?

Who hired who hired who hired GMAC? This is fun. Eventually it will get back to a single guy who is ultimately responsibile for all controversial hirings. My money is on Santa Claus. Then, we can all just direct our hate toward him, and be done with it.

I like the way you're thinking on this one :notworthy:

I think the guy responsible is always Kevin Bacon; eventually it will lead back to him :jimlad:.

That's an excellent point. You are most assuredly correct. Kevin Bacon is ultimately responsible for the demise of Iowa State Men's Basketball. As a result of this revelation, I think that every Cyclone fan should refuse to watch Hollow Man, Flatliners, or The Air Up There ever again. It's the least we can do.
