Two of Jantz's picks

Consider this- Jantz can have a rough start, but he doesn't dwell on it. He has a short memory. It's not just Jantz, tho. This team believes. How many Cyclone teams of the past would have folded after the first quarter last night? That being said, we can't continue this trend and expect to be successful in big 12 play (while it lasts). I'm confident Jantz will continue to improve on the mistakes.

That's the thing I'm really beginning to love about Jantz - he lives in the present. Makes a mistake? Fine - go to the sideline and get coached, file away the info, move on. Make a big play and score a TD? Give your guy a chest bump, go to the sideline and get coached, file away the info, move on.

I cannot begin to imagine how horrible I would be if three of my first four throws were picked. I would take myself out. But that's why I was never a quarterback, and Jantz is.

With his level-headedness and "short-memory", he'll be a great example to Barnett and Richardson for the next two years.
