Just wanting to spread the word to help a friend.
I know there are alot of quality people on this site.
Hopefully someone has seen or heard something that can help.
Please refrain from any off-hand comments as this is a very serious matter.

I swear there are so many disgusting human beings on this planet. I pray this turns out well.

As a parent of 2 children this is my biggest fear. May god bring these 2 back to their family as soon as possible and may god unleash his fury on the sick SOB that took them!

I just read about this this morning. I also read about the community doing a sweeping search for them. I hope everything turns out all right, as the two would have ended up going to the high school I teach in.

I have two daughters about the same ages as these girls. Something like this is a parent's worst nightmare. I pray that there is some misunderstanding and maybe they are just lost in the woods or something and are found safe.

I guess in the meantime it's time to have another talk with the kids about "stranger danger."

Seen this for a few days on Facebook but have yet to see much of a news article.

Any detail out there or is missing all they have to go on right now?
Sad case - hoping for a happy ending.......

Just google mapped Meyers lake after reading that their bikes were found on the SE corner. Highway 20 runs directly south of this corner and their is a river just south of 20. I couldnt help but think of the accessibility an abductor would have from this particular area. Sad.

That would be Cedar River that flows there. The only positive of 20 in that area is that it's all torn up for reconstruction this summer there. As someone that lives in Waterloo, I'm a little ****** that this happened here. Hopefully the girls are merely lost, but after 2 days, I'm not holding up much hope of that. Evansdale is a smaller community that doesn't see much like this.
