two guys named chris

I liked Hassel at WHO but started to get annoyed with him taking shots at Iowa State when he went national. But then when Iowa/Uthoff blew that halftime lead he barged onto the SportCenter set and asked how much Iowa won by and acted all mad when he was told that they lost. I gained a lot of understanding and respect for him right there that he was happy to poke fun at anyone including his Hawkeyes and maybe I shouldn't take it so personally.

And that SportsCenter bit was pretty darn funny.

I listened to today. JoBo loves cursing. Every sentence seemed to have to have one in. I’m not a prude and sweat myself, just noticed it since it was so much.
Thought I’d finally give that one a try today. Wow. You weren’t kidding. I’m no prude either but 30 seconds in I’d had enough. And to be fair, Bohannon hadn’t even spoken yet. Profanity just for the sake of being profane has never impressed me. But at least I know I don’t have to give it another shot and don’t have to listen to Jorbo.

This is my biggest gripe with it. It's not like I don't use choice words every now and then, but in my opinion, cursing doesn't really lend itself to casual conversation unless while drinking (which maybe these guys are while recording, who knows?) or when speaking passionately (often times a bit angrily) about something. The way J-bo uses some these words it almost sounds like he is forcefully interjecting them into the conversation without a whole lot reason.

Just to be clear, I came across a clip posted to Twitter yesterday. So I thought I’d give it a listen and go from there, assuming the best parts of the pod would be linked. I never even got to Bohannon speaking before I decided it wasn’t for me. And I do like every single other pod from IE so far.
Edit: To be completely transparent, this is the clip. And it was actually at 35 seconds when I decided it wasn’t cut out for me. And my family has dealt with the subject also.

He certainly does seem to be speaking on a topic that you can tell has affected him and he is passionate about. Probably not easy for him to talk about. I understand where he's coming from but like you, wish he could have said what he said minus some of the vulgarity. I still blame Jbo. He brings the worst out of Jared. LOL

I listened to like the second or third one. Think I've heard the Stanz/JBo one 3 times now. I agree with your sentiment.
