The development of posts has suffered in recent years. I wish I had answers or suggestions to offer, but I'm not at practices. These ladies have talent. There is zero doubt about that. They should be able to compete with anyone inside and right now that isn't happening. Our juco and frosh are still in the adjustment period. Burkhall is just a mystery.
We are going to have our hands full in the post on Wednesday facing an All-American player. Gustafson will be hands down the best player we have seen this year.
I might sound like a broken record... but wasn't Jack responsible for the posts when he was here? We all saw how Pop developed.
ISU staff went after Gufstason hard in recruiting. 1/2 of their roster had ISU offers. They wanted Meyer, Doyle, and Stewart too. I hope we beat them, just cause....Too bad Bre Cera didn't pick ISU over Iowa, she may have gotten more playing time. Cera played high school ball in the town I live by, and in going to her games, I had high hopes she would have picked the good guys. The whole team calling Frau Bludder "mom" weirds me out.
