TV

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm incredibly disappointed that this game isn't on CloneZone... This is a perfect game to be broadcast on the internet. What is the purpose of CloneZone? I can see the gene chizik show on FCS Central... I cannot continue to support CloneZone if they aren't even going to carry this game, especially since I'd be satisfied by a simple video feed from a camera in the press box. I'd rather donate the extra money directly to the athletics department. (My guess is that clone zone is run by a 3rd party anyway)

I envy all of you that can make it to the games...

Its unbelievable how far reaching and discriminatory the Big 12's "exclusive" television contract is.

Pollard MUST get the contract trashed if he wants to have any hope to build this athletic program.

Well, there are sacrifices to be made if you want the extra $$$ of a truly exclusive contract. That's called "doing business".

I agree.

However, it's likely never going to happen. Once again, it takes 9 of the 12 votes to change things like this. Who among Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Nebraska are you going to convince that they should be giving up TV time - or money - to be fair to the "lesser" schools in the conference?

Why can't they get a contract that allows for ALL the conference's teams to have EACH of their games televised? It shouldn't be a matter of "giving up TV time," it should be a matter of ADDING TV time so that the additional slots can be filled by teams like us who otherwise are getting dogged in the current setup.

Just hope for a "Big XII Network". :skeptical:

With me watching my son today, and the wife is working - i will be depending on some great insight on the game from those that attend. Give up the dirt....i just hope its a W - because next week i want to see 2-0 against 2-0 I-STATE row 2 section 115 with the wife - we will have a blast....

Look for me wearing the shirt that Scheels is selling right now....

RED with gold letters says "BEAT IOWA AGAIN"......

Oh by the way, my brother/sister told me last night that next week in ia city is going to be a black out week - two years ago they held that for the OHIO ST undefeated game (IA got pummelled) so maybe the importance of this game to EIU is growing.

Take care of business and let the flashes know that last year was the "PERFECT TIME TO PLAY US"....

I've got that one hangin' in the closet ready to be brought out of it's one-year retirement. I saw another one last year on ebay that I REALLY wanted but missed out on. It had BEAT IOWA on the front in red letters with gold (or white) trim around the letters. I really wish I could find that one in a large somewhere with super-fast shipping.

someone mentioned the other day that you will be able to listen to the game on 105.1's webiste...Has anyone heard this to be true? I have tried it in the past and never have they had the game on the internet broadcast
