big bang theory surprises me in the fact that how many people like it. I hate it.

MTV finally dropped the "music" from their official name a few years ago. It's just the letters now. Even THEY had to admit that their channel has nothing to do with anything musical anymore, aside from all the sour notes their programming makes.
It also sucks that VH1 Classic barely has videos anymore. Boo.
Its comforting to see that I'm not the only person who thinks that the Big Bang Theory is the biggest piece of **** tv show ever.
Everyone Loves Raymond! It is just reruns now but Boxstercy hates Raymond and believes even glimpses of it during channel flipping contributes to macular degeneration. I don't watch much of any shows on the old network channels. The worst of the newest reality shows is all of the gun themed shows where celebrities and insane gun projects walk into these gun shops every five minutes.
The only shows that I actually made an effort to catch last years were Archer, Justified, Walking Dead and Falling Skies. Walking Dead and Falling Skies aren’t really great TV (especially Falling Skies) but make my watch list because of my adage that “bad sci-fi is better than no sci-fi at all”. The bad sci-fi axiom does not apply to the Sci-fi Channel made for TV movies which are unwatchable and therefore beyond simply “bad”. Comcast should rebate me $5 for every time I accidently channel flip onto one of those movies.

Any show that has two writers or political hacks fake arguing about topics they both agree on because that is the format of the show. ESPN made this one famous.

That's probably a little far. I can think of 100 shows that are worse than Big Bang Theory.
Most anything on the "History" Channel, but especially Ancient Aliens. The sheer amount of intellectual and academic dishonesty it takes to produce such a show is mind-boggling. Pretty sure I nearly suffered a stroke while yelling at my television the first time I saw that show.
Agreed, to take a step in the right direction, they should just get rid of everyone except for the babe (Kaley Cuoco)
Not sure who you heard that from. 'Awesome' is one word that should never be associated with that piece of crap show.

Absolutely. These were the first (and only) shows that came to my mind before even opening the thread...in order, too. Robin's character is the worst on that show; I cannot begin to tell you how much I can't stand her.
The biggest thing to me about that show is how little progress has been made to actually fulfilling the purpose of the show. And yes, I know the whole point is that he's trying to find his future wife, but eventually you just get to the point where it's just stale and they're stretching it out for every cent they can get.
Add that to the fact that the acting is tuuurrible (besides NPH) and it's one of my least favorites.
I have to admit, I really enjoy seeing the homes that they look at (not on international though) but what I hate is how staged the conversations are and how annoying the women always are. They act like the paint color of one room is a deal breaker.
