Wait mediacom 173 is high def? I thought all the high def channels were in the 800s?

It's not in HD. Not on your TV, not on my TV, not on God's TV. Not in HD.

I get FCS where i live but only in SD and it might be the worst looking channel ever! Skin colors are red, ISU jerseys are purple. Its something else let me tell ya.

Is the game on the Comcast channel. In central IA, I have found ISU there a couple of times (WBB, FB, ...). Unfortunately, the feeds are usually only blocked out or turned on at gametime.
