Does anybody have any idea if and what kind of TV coverage we will have this year besides the Iowa game on Versus? Living in CO limits my ability to see the Clones play live.

Any other TV appearances won't be announced until 12 days before the game (or 6 days on occasion).

For the conference, there will be a total of 5 games on VERSUS, 16-19 on ABC, and 22-24 on FSN (including the 5 ESPN games).

Kent state is on mediacom and some people have had luck picking those telecasts on the "big dishes" outside the state of Iowa.

The Kent St. game is not on Mediacom as of right now and probably won't be. The game is sponsored by Mediacom but isn't actually on TV...confusing I know.

I believe the Kansas game is already scheduled for TV (along with Iowa on the Versus channel)--though I don't know what channel or if it's local/regional/national coverage.

The only game currently slated for TV is Sept. 15. The rest will be announced as the season progresses.

UNI won't be televised. Toledo won't be televised, but may be webcast via their site (and possibly piggybacked on ISU's).

Aren't most of the games on the Mediacom Connections channels in the Ames/Des Moines area? I could be wrong, but I think they usually are.

Every big12 game not in the home stadium should be televised. This is supposed to be big time college football and we cannot even watch our teams. I can watch the freakin world series of poker qualifying round, but I cannot watch a big12 college football game in 2007! I am sick of it!

If Pollard could pull off Mediacom showing the Kent State game and have them open with "in lieu of the Big 10 Network, we will now show the ISU Kent State football game".....that would be funny.

Note: Big 10 Network debuts on Aug 30th, where available.

I tend to agree. If you play in a BCS conference, all of your games should be televised. Whether it's locally or on a pay per view basis, they should all be available in some capacity. I'd gladly play 29.95 to watch an Iowa State game instead of listening to John and Eric.

I thought the whole reason I couldn't see the Cubs when I had Mediacom was because they made a decision to go with StL which somehow in turn meant more ISU games on TV.

Haven't seen it yet. Sounds like I won't be seeing it. Mediacom can kiss my arse.

THe reality of that is that more people want to watch that than Iowa State play Toledo - or any other game for that matter. I would imagine that the Nebraska game will get picked up as well as UT and/or OU. Possibly MU and/or CU.

FSN Midwest routinely shows a lot more Big 12 events live than FSN Chicago ever did. Normally, the 11:30 Saturday slot on FSN Chicago ended up being some type of Blackhawks propaganda or some local 'sports' show -- even when they were supposed to be carrying the Big 12 game in that time slot.

Of course, the ISU game would need to be scheduled for FSN first. It's not like Mediacom is keeping ISU off the air. ISU losing is what keeps ISU off the air.
