I think he'll continue to see late game or spot minutes next year, but not much. I'm hoping by his junior year he can be a decent bench player and maybe by the time he is a senior he can be a solid contributor or starter. Not everyone can step in as a freshman or sophomore and be solid.

You know Tsalmpouris has great value to this team whether he ever plays a meaningful minute or not. In every practice, our players have to play against him . . . shooting over him and rebounding against him. That has to be good for our starters.

Maybe GT can get a big butt for rebounding.

Based simply on what we've seen from him in games this year, I'm not sure you can say he runs the court. What I do love about him is he's got a great shot and good touch on the inside. He actually could be one of the most productive posts Fred's had on offense if he adds the weight to get playing time.

I agree with you. I just don't see him being here next year. Just don't see him sitting on our bench when he could be making money back home playing pro ball.

This. I think he's a good kid and tries hard, but has anyone watched him play? Slow is an understatement. It's great that he can shoot and post up, but defensively ISU would have to play zone because he's not going to stop anyone. I'm guessing he heads back to Europe this summer and cashes a nice check.

In reality, ISU needs to fill out the roster wisely. They need 1-2 more bigs. A backup pg wouldn't hurt. But, it also wouldn't be a bad idea to stash a couple of transfers for 2016-17 when they lose a bunch of players. With the run they want to make next year we need contributors or guys that are waiting to start the following year. Roster fillers are not an option.
