Tsalmpouris Status?

Not that it means much but he is still listed in the online directory. So is TJ. Prohm is not. Otzelgate lives!

Not sure if it means anything for GT's status but their is rumored to be a couple of "mystery players" in play still that could make a splash right away.

Has there been any information on the status of Tsalmpouris now that both Fred and Matt A are gone?

Greece is a financial mess right now. Government turmoil, bank runs, huge unemployment, government checks bouncing, etc. I would be surprised if his parents aren't suffering because of this. It may prompt GT to want to come back and get his education. hell, his parents may be back here soon too.

Do you have a link for the original source to this rumor? I saw someone else say the same thing a week ago, but it all seems very 3rd or 4th hand evidence.

If you have just 1-2 years to play, what team with roster spots is going to be better than ISU. I feel like a wing or a big man can find the minutes too because we have good starters but not that dep. A guard might need to be pretty awesome to get minutes unless Thomas/Naz don't improve at all or Cooke doesn't pan out.

The team really isn't that known of a quantity until we see Cooke and Burton on the floor, I feel like either is a very tough prediction. I'd have thought Cooke would at least be a lights out shooter given he already was in the P12 but coming off the surgery can affect a player.

Of course the situation in Greece could prompt him to want to get paid. Though I wonder if players in lower leagues might get stiffed. I thought that was an issue in some foreign leagues.

Well not that it matters but some people tweeted at him. "Are you still a cyclone?" Nothing. "Can't wait for you to come back and make more memories next year". Favorite. "Looking forward to seeing the improved GT playing at Hilton next year". Favorite. I think he is coming back.

I am very curious to hear the details of this.

I do not know if he is coming back being overseas, but I think 7'-2 reasons why he should come back.
