Truck Bed Liners

Unrelated yet somewhat related.

I parked next to a vehicle today that was completely covered by a spray on bedliner...the entire vehicle. Is that common? I've never seen it before

I'm with the rest, I've had liners (both above and below the top rails of the box) and am now a confirmed spray-in guy. The guy who did mine also sprayed the wheel wells.

Do the spray on liners work okay for used trucks? Do you have to anything to the bed before having it done?
Don't know why they wouldn't. Not sure what you mean I guess. Just sweep it out and clean it maybe. Don't forget to take out the tools, dogs, kids, etc.

Like if it had some small rust spots. Do you have to sand/grind those out before spraying?

Gotcha. I am not 100% sure, but I think it would be okay if didn't do that. I would double check with someone smarter than me though.

And get WeatherTech floor mats. Can’t imagine not having them

If you near Des Moines message me and I’ll give you the name that did my mats, cover and box.

I think Husky are just as good for cheaper but either are great. I have WT in my Explorer and Husky in our Subaru. Love them.

I just put a bedrug in my new truck. It's pretty sweet. Feels like a carpet and is easy on the knees if you are in the bed.

Digging this back up as I need one more piece of feedback.

I did get the Line-X, and I couldn’t be happier. It was quick, it looks great and the warranty on them is amazing.

Now I need a cover. I’m a golfer, and never know when a tee time is going to pop up, so my clubs are with me about 9 months out of the year. I’d like them to be secure.

I’d like a cover that will keep my clubs back there, without having to worry about them getting gaffled, while not having to spend an arm and a leg.

Any suggestions?

I like the tonnue style cover myself. But mine is rolled up probably 80% of the time right now, liked it when I was using it steady though.

I’m not a fan of the hard covers. Limits your use. What seems the best is the roll up or the section canvas ones that flip.

BTW, speaking of Bedliners, I have a friend who trades pickups every 3-4 years. He puts nothing in until he sells and then drops a Berliner in right before and makes the thing look like he takes excellent care of it.

I have a Truxedo tonneau roll up cover. If you lock the tailgate you can't get to the latches to open the cover so your stuff stays safe. Of course if someone wants to cut it open they can. The way I see it if someone is determined to steal stuff they will steal stuff. This just makes it harder so they usually move on.
It was less than $300 and I think they ship from Sioux Falls so you get it fast.
