You don't build programs by filling your roster with jucos year in and year out. Especially in the trenches.
Bill Snyder might disagree with you.

GTO, beat me to it haha
That is one massive dude. I'll take lineman commits all day every day on both sides of the ball. I'm fully convinced that everyone else could be average and you'd still win with great lines.
USA Academic All-American in high school. There were no qualifying issues here. This kid was very highly regarded. The fact that he's nearly as tall as the trophy case with arms long enough to tie his shoes without bending over won't hurt either. I'll be shocked if he sits out a year. Also, his dad wanted him to go to a top-tier engineering school. Hmmm....

Maybe CW or someone will interview him and get the scoop on why he went the JUCO routeGreat post. He is clearly a good student. Pepole go juco for a lot of reasons. He could have been injured before signing and offers got pulled. His offer could have been preferred walk on offers and not full rides. Home sickness? Point is there could be a ton of reasons. Most importantly he is with the good guys now. Welcome aboard big man!!

Yes, from his twitter it looked like he has been to visits at some big time programs (LSU, Texas A&M). Hopefully him and Campos can be bookends on the O-line for the next 3 years.
