Tristan Enaruna minutes

Agree. He is typical European without the 3 range. Call it soft, weak whatever but an inside banger he is not. It is correct that for his height he is athletic but he is overmatched inside in the Big 12 where he could do things in the non-conference against players more his size. He is too tall and slow to guard an off guard but depending on the match up he can guard 3’s. Jazz is physically the same but much more aggressive for rebounds and can make 3’s. If he would get more aggressive he could really be an asset but at his age it is getting late for the light to go on.
Enaruna is a better rebounder than Kunc.

I love Enaruna, but as someone else mentioned, he is running out of time to prove it at this level. I hope he sticks around to work on his game and remain a Cyclone while doing it, because theoretically he could be here another 2 years and theoretically it could "click" this year still, or next. That said, I would not be surprised if he looks for greener pastures. His toughness has been questioned, and it will be again this offseason when the portal presents itself to him to find a new home again.

I would guess Enaruna leaves after this year and he won't be the only departure. Going to be a lot of new faces again and hopefully they can add some guys that while they are good defenders they can also play some on the offensive end.

Don't jump to conclusions on potential transfers, that's not cool.

Maybe the light bulb will go one for Enaruna with another off-season to work on his body and game. But if I look at our current roster and looking forward to next year, we have 2 players who would start on a team that would finish 1-4 in the Big12 Conference- Hunter and Brockington.

Enaruna has potential and the frame that is worth keeping him around and hope for a break-through. I don't share that opinion about others on the roster.

I get it but it's not cool to speculate who may or may not leave the program.
That is your opinion. Not mine. I think your thought process comes from thinking that transferring is some mark on a player like he is a problem or that transferring itself is a problem. It isn't a bad thing and someone who transfers isn't bad for doing so. It is like if people started saying you can't talk about which players on a pro team might hold out or ask for a trade or not resign with a team.
You talk about which players might go pro right? Or who might use their extra year? I am guessing you talk about what transfers ISU may go after?

The mods have even brought it up in the past and have asked posters to not speculate about transfers.

But he has already used the one time free transfer so he would have to sit out if he transfers. That would impact a lot. I hope he sticks around.
True, maybe he just comes back for one year and then doesn't use his extra year and goes back to hope to Europe.

No commitment, but TJ asked directly if TE would play more against TCU.

But Grill goes 1-12 on Saturday in 32 minutes. I get there's likely way more to this situation than what fans see, but damn...
