Transportation from Orlando Sanford

Flying into Orlando Sanford for a convention next month. I typically use Super Shuttle Service but it look like that is not an option out of Sanford. I'm staying 1/2 mile south of convention center. Any economical transportation recommendations ? (Other than uber, lyft, taxi). Rental car will be about $225 and really don't need one other than to and from airport.

I prefer a rental. More freedom. Unless you're only there a day or two, Then it's cheaper to just use taxi.
 
There are several shuttles from Sanford. I think if you are going to Orange County Convention Center, you can easily get a quote online.

We flew into Sanford a lot when son was in Orlando. I recall seeing several shuttle services there. Airport reminds me a bit of Des Moines as far as size. He flew out of there a lot for the direct Allegiant to Des Moines and of course always got rides from friends.

The prices you find will undoubtedly take into account tolls, which may make them seem a bit high.
 
Find a buddy on a UCF fan site! Ask him/her for a ride.
 
Was just in Orlando for a convention 3 weeks ago. Rented a car for $170 for 5 days and spent $15 in gas. Figured it was cheaper than trying to Uber for the week. The previous time I was in Orlando for a convention we flew into Sanford. I will never make that mistake again.

How much did you spend for parking? If you stay at a hotel connected with the Convention Center, you may need to double that cost!
