No he’s a junior. I mean we have weapons on this team and don’t throw it very often. He had some good catches and a couple big plays. He’s likely not going down as a cyclone legend but he’s more than capable of making winning plays and he’s a good size
Well if he played at Army you know he can run block.
I thought he walked on senior day. And word was he was going either enter portal or enter working world.
You should have watched the Army/Navy game. Both teams passed the ball. It was awesome. Between the two teams they were 23/43/2.
I don't think there has been that much passing in this game since Roger Staubach played in the game.
That game is a must watch for me every year.

Guys transferring out and going down a level kind of makes sense if you look at the overall big picture.
ISU gets a lot of 3 star type recruits. Some of those are underrated or develop into Big12 players thru hard work. And some are overrated or not as motivated, and were never gonna be good enough for this level. So when they move on, that means down.
For say, Texas, all 4 and 5 star recruits, even the ones that dont pan out are still big, fast, rated enough that other P5 will have lots of interest.

Yeah, if you have two really solid to great receivers at any given time, you are doing something right. Noel and Higgins are one hell of a base to build upon. Almost no one not named Ohio State has an all world third option.
Not to mention, how we’ve used TEs as receiving threats under CMC.
What do you mean? Two out of the three guys who have been multi-year contributors were in their first two classes and those guys were on rosters with Butler, Lazard, and Ryan who I'd put up against anyone we have now. Like I've said, I don't think this is some huge issue as much as I just want to know what they think is the reason we have such a small hit rate. I know what I think it is, but I have no idea if that's right.
Guessing - CMC & Co have really liked TALL receivers in the past. Maybe they overweight that too much in evals (reminds me how Iowa over values tall QBs).
Another possibility - maybe these playmakers get here and aren't as excited about blocking as they have to be to get on the field, and then lose motivation since they aren't playing. Even the star WRs (Lazard, Hakeem, X) were REALLY REALLY good blockers.
Could also just be our memory bias. WRs always have amazing highlights, and easy to focus on speed, height, etc. So you recruit 3-4 of those guys every year, and kind of expect ALL of them to be the next Hutchinson. But really you only need one per class to pan out at most.
Add Noel and Brahmer to the list of really good blockers. Some of our best runs this year have been aided by them blocking downfield.
