If Iowa splits the next 2 and wins out from there they probably deserve bubble consideration. It would be a play-in game situation for sure, though, I think. Those home losses to Michigan and Maryland will loom large. It’s just really hard to imagine them going on a run like that with almost non-existent interior defense/basket protection. That ain’t getting better.

I agree that Iowa finishing 4-1 moves them into bubble territory but I think it would take one win in conference tourney to solidify things.

Having said that, Iowa isn’t finishing 4-1. I would put my money on 2-3.

Iowa seems a lock for the NIT though based on the new rules that the two highest NET teams from the Power 6 that don’t make tournament get in.
