Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

The only way this comes true is if the ISU fans I know have their wishes come true and we don't have a college basketball season or played limited schedules with no non- conference games.

Do you really think ISU would beat Iowa in Iowa City this season?

Is Garza playing? If so, no. If not, probably not but stranger things have happened.

If Hinson, and Harris are eligible yes. With those two Iowa State has the better team. Maybe not the best player but the better overall team.

If Garza plays, Iowa has the better team. Sure we could still hypothetically win, but highly doubtful. If Garza doesn't play (he will), and we have everyone eligible, we could have the better team but we'll just have to see how we'll be first. Our roster outlook looks good but we still haven't seen how any of them play with one another.

Oh goodness.

I don't know what statement of your post is more crazy.

"With those two, Iowa State has the better team"

or

"Maybe not the best player"

Is your fantasy land one in which Garza is back at Iowa next season?

I’ll all the same, why do you support racism?

One thing is for certain.... whether or not fans are allowed.... it won’t make a difference in Carver Hawkeye Arena... they won’t have fans either way.

Is that why Iowa has the 10th biggest home court advantage in college basketball according to KenPom? FWIW, that’s better than Iowa State.

I've been told if he can't visit Elon that he will commit to Iowa sight unseen

https://247sports.com/player/trey-james-46049793/

James has been in heavy contact with Texas A&M, Marquette, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Butler, Mizzou, and Illinois lately. Hopefully Iowa can get a commitment before he blows up. Kid averaged 15 and 11 with 9 blocks per game last season. Just insane production.

KenPom uses actual statistics to determine the best home court advantages. Your counter to statistics is to post a couple opinion pieces from random college basketball writers?
If you actually think Carver is harder to play in than Hilton, I know of some beach front property in Clarksville, Iowa I would love to show you.
