Out of 100 brackets in bracket matrix, they are listed on 1 of them. That puts them as 9th team out in the matrix for at - large teams.
Edit, 10th team out. Richmond is listed as "other auto" but they have more brackets as 11-seed (4) than Hawkeyes (1)

Majority of those would be leaped if Iowa wins out regardless of what they do by Iowa winning 2 quad 1s. Some will stub there toe like we may tomorrow and drop out or lower. 19-12 Iowa with 4-5 quad 1 wins is a lock with a top 15-20 SOS. The hard part is getting to that

My two cents worth:

3-0 they are likely in, particularly if they win their first Big 10 tournament game

2-1 last four out range heading into the Big 10 tournament, so could play their way in depending on how the bubble moves

1-2 or worse, they’d have to win the Big 10 tournament

This tracks. I'm not sure their first BTT tournament game will be worth much if they go 2-1 other than avoiding a bad loss. Likely playing a non-tourney team like Ohio State, Penn St, Rutgers.

2-1 + 2 in Minneapolis will do it imo.

Iowa broke their toe with two losses to Maryland, one to OSU and one to Michigan.
