Let me take a stab at the plot. Drones are becoming the new thing and phasing out fighter pilots. Something bad happens with who controls the drones/how they are performing and Maverick has to go old school to save the day.

They already made that movie... It was called Deal of the Century.

My favorite scene will be when they go into the karoake bar and the upstart, hotshot pilot sings a classic song by Pitbull while Maverick shakes his head and grins.

30 ******* years and he is only a Captain? Never mind the fact that he would have been forced out by now at that rank. Also the Navy as of right now is not supporting it that much as they have not been given a full script to review and want to make sure that everything is being depicted correctly and in a good light.

That being said...THIS BETTER BE EPIC!
