Top 5 Led Zeppelin songs

I get irritated when I keep hearing these guys as the best band of all time. I won't argue against The Beatles, but I'd rank Elvis, Aerosmith, RHCP, & The Eagles ahead of these guys based on their chart success & longevity. Whatevs. I'm the weird one. That being said I can name four songs that I'm not tired of (yet):

4. The Battle of Evermore
3. Trampled Under Foot
2. All My Love
1. Fool In The Rain

Hard to argue with this, though:

10 Best Selling Bands Of All Time | Made Manual

Just don't understand. I've always thought they were good, but not THAT good...

I don' care much for "Hats Off For Roy Harper" and "The Crunge"

I agree with "Hats Off to Roy Harper" but I love "The Crunge" for the memories I have attached to it.

Way back during my college days, at a party, we decided to mix in a few songs that were impossible to dance to. Later in the night, we played "The Crunge" watching a bunch of drunks (including myself) try to dance to it was priceless. My friends still laugh about dancing to The Crunge.

1. Good Times Bad Times
2. What Is and What Should Never Be
3. Over the Hills and Far Away.
4. Black Dog
5. Bring It on Home

To me the only band that is as good or better is the Beatles.

Aerosmith? Nah. I do agree that Red Hot Chili Peppers are great though. I enjoy the Eagles but their library is not nearly as extensive as Zep's and I personally don't feel even their very best songs are at that level of quality. Elvis? Certainly a pioneer and a great.... but I've never found myself jamming out to his songs so I guess he is not my cup of tea.

I'm suprised how high the Eagles are.

And no Jimi

Eagles have a few songs that are ok. Aerosmith is poor cheese pretentiously wrapped, just an ok band. Zeps first few albums, with Page predominately the driving force was the greatest rock band of all time. Lost me when Plant started whining.

I love zeppelin but I am a huge 3 and 4 fan because I really love their acoustic stuff.

My Top 5 Zeppelin list changes based on what kind of mood I'm in.

Bluesy:
You Shook Me
I Can't Quit You Baby
Ten Years Gone
Baby Come On Home
Hey Hey What Can I Do

Rock:
Whole Lotta Love
Heartbreaker
Immigrant Song
Black Dog
Kashmir

Acoustic:
Friends
Gallows Pole
Tangerine
Going to California
Black Country Woman

Really, I like almost all of their songs - Hat's Off for Harper is one that sticks out as something I don't much care for.

Did some rocking last night and this is what I come up with. List is always subject to change....

5. Rock and roll- Always start my Zep jam sessions with this one.
4. When the levee breaks- Going to Chicago....
3. Fool in the rain- Fine example of what makes Bonzo the best of all time.
2. Kashmir- Speaks for itself
1. Travelling riverside blues- My favorite Zep tune since I picked up the box set in the early 90's.
