We lost two games against ranked teams by a total of three points. Although we should have won those games, that’s not pooping the bed. Few teams have good wins right now.
Yes, because this kind of thinking represents our whole fan base, and is unique only to our fan base. My house needs painting, can I borrow that enormously broad brush you are painting everyone with?

You are forgetting a 3 OT game against an FCS team with 3 losses already. Voters don’t forget that. Right now we could hang with most of the top 25 but you have to look at the whole body of work.
It seems to be a large number of our fans. And it is stupid. Same thing happens in basketball. Every year about midway through the conference season there are long threads on here about how we have no good wins, we'll be lucky to sneak into the tournament and all of that ********. Yet anyone with a brain knows we are very safe for the tournament.
And I do think we are worse than some fans. Do Nebraska fans act like they don't belong when they get ranked? Hell no. Do Iowa fans? No.
By that same token, Iowa is still ranked and their only good win is against an unranked Iowa State team. Should they be in there?
Listen, I know attacking other posters on CF is your thing, and I'm sure you do think everyone thinks this way. But it's a minority opinion even in this thread. Most of this thread is everyone jumping all over a couple posts like you are doing. Sooo... maybe step away from CF for a while because its warping your sense of our fanbase.
@jsb Post makes a billion times more sense than the guy who suggested the top 25 all have better wins than us.
Computer metrics all have us around 15-25. Nothing wrong with thinking the team is that good.
Any poll that has the word coach in it should be printed out and used to wipe your ass. Sure it might give you a nasty paper cut on your bung hole but you'll have the satisfaction of showing the proper attention that should be given to such trash.
So calling the whole ISU fanbase stupid and using a couple posts to represent the whole fanbase makes sense to you? Ok.
