Top 10 PGs

Re: Top Point Guards. Monte at number....

I don't think he's gonna leave after this year, unless he wins the tourney MVP or something. Could you imagine if Georges came back next year too? Niang, Long, Mckay, and Nader as our Seniors, Morris as a junior and then Cooke and Custer. Oh my god. Plus whoever Fred brings in. If everyone stays, next year we are pre-season top 3 I think.
Yea I read one of those CBB experts said if we keep our team together we should be preseason top 10 if not top 5.

Haha, where is that one idiot Iowa fan who said that outside of CF'ers that people would agree he's one of the best point guards in the nation? There are at least fifteen more I would put before him.

Dude is averaging 6 points a game. I don't think even Iowa fans can claim he's good.

If we would happen to add Diallo and Burton, plus the additions of Williams and Cooke...whoa that's a great time. Alright enough ************ from this guy.

I think the only thing holding Man Man back from topping these lists is that he doesn't score 20 a game so they assume he can't score that much.
In Fred's system he doesn't have to score that much for us to win. He's the motor that makes the whole offense run.

I think his offensive game will only continue to improve in the next year or two and he will end up one of our top scoring options and be asked to call his own number more often.

Interesting there is no mention of Marcus Paige. Preseason POY mention.

SIAP

Anyone notice the FGC selection being called the Mayor? Is the writer cutting in on our brand? More importantly, do i have to cut a foo? Just kidding, I dont know what I just wrote.

It is certainly possible that by his senior year he and Custer could be starting together sharing PG and SG duties. They can both score and they are both capable PGs. Try pressing that, ******!

That's some pretty dang good company. That kid from Utah looked legit when I saw them play KU, and I'm real happy that not everyone is anointing Pangos #1 (though he's certainly good). I also really like Tyus Jones...pretty cool that Morris is ahead of him.

None of these guys score that much, so I don't think that's it. I'd guess that maybe it's because Morris isn't considered as much of an outside shooting threat compared to guys like Pangos and VanVleet (though VanVleet has been shooting awful this year, and Morris did fine last year).

It seems likeVanVleet and that Utah PG are more of the "slasher" types, too...they like to attack the bucket and draw fouls, which Morris isn't as inclined to do. It's an apples-to-oranges comparison, but maybe that too?

Love the Maryland fans ragging on Morris due to the one game they've seen him play. There are two kinds of people out there this year : those who saw only the Maryland game and think ISU sucks, and those who have watched literally any other game.

How about the norte dame homer crying because his teams pg isn't listed. What a maroon. norte dame has to be one of the top 5 worst, most arrogant fanbases.

Nice segment during halftime of the Duke game. Greenberg ranked Monte Morris as the best point guard in the nation. Awesome publicity!

The other doofus with Greenburg said that he doesn't play defense. But he did have him in his top 5 though.
That "doofus" was Jay Williams LOL who knows a thing or two about playing PG. And he said Iowa State doesn't play defense, not just Monte. Maybe we can change his opinion this year.
