I'm a huge MM fan and think he is way more offensively gifted than most people realize. With that said, I'm surprised he is ahead of Jones. The couple times I've seen him he has been impressive.

I don't think many people realize how ridiculous a 6.5/1 assist to turnover ratio is. 2 assists better than the NCAA record, which Monte owns. Being the key stat for a PG, how is he not higher on that list?
The stat is amazing, but at this point he has not had to be aggressive in creating. At some point he will and his ratio will come down, but it won't be a bad thing. I think his points, assists and turnovers will go up as he takes a more assertive role in the offense.
Morris did win all the end-of- season awards that year in Michigan though. Everyone outside the state fell in love with Walton but the people watching the games knew how good Morris was. Be thankful for Waltons high ranking or Morris may have been a Wolverine.

Hunter was actually the only one that had a decent game for Ga State. Mostly because he took 20 shots. I think Fred was fine with letting him try to go one on one with Monte as long as no one else on their team did anything.
He had 21 points, hit 8/20 shots, 4/11 from 3. Only 4 assists and 1 TO
Hunter isn't a PG and wasn't on the list. It's Ryan Harrow who Monte destroyed:
Harrow: 6-22, 12 pts, 0 FTs, 5 assists, 5 turnovers
Morris: 7-9, 19 pts, 4 FTs, 9 assists, 0 turnovers
A lot of the "creating" will be taken on by Georges and Bryce so I don't think you will see as great of a change in his turnovers as you might think.
Sorry, I knew that was wrong when I looked it up. For some reason I thought he was on Hunter. As you were.
Wow, this is rare.I'm a huge MM fan and think he is way more offensively gifted than most people realize. With that said, I'm surprised he is ahead of Jones. The couple times I've seen him he has been impressive.
Regarding the bold part: Wut? Have you watched any games yet this year?
Interesting how they tout #1 VanVleet's 3:1 A/T ratio. For Monte, that would be a bad day! Congrats Monte, so glad you're a Cyclone!
He's pictured twice...and this list of top point guards has been posted in three different threads! We just can't get enough...He is pictured twice!
Hey look at that, no Kentucky players on the list haha. I selfishly kind of wish Monte would get less media press, we need him for next year. Also, I think he's better than Fred van fleet and Kevin Pangos.
