Good catch. Just checked box score. Damn Golden Domers.

Clinkscales committed to Nebraska the other day. Unless we have an epic sales pitch, I don't see it happening.
According to a 247 article I posted in a different thread, Elliott didn't make it to Urbandale the other day because of travel issues.
I assume this means he's probably getting a bunch of "negative recruiting" calls right now since Iowa State only won 3 games this year.
It's never too late to email JPIs it too late to email JP about this?!?!?!
From IrishIllustrated:
"I just found out that Coach Messingham and Coach Pope were fired and I'm about ready to call Coach (Derek) Day to find out what's going on," Mister said Sunday evening. "I was committed there to play for Coach Pope and communicated with Coach Messingham a lot. I didn't have a strong relationship with (Coach Messingham); I've mainly dealt with Coach Pope, Coach Rhoads and Coach Day. So the coach I'm supposed to be playing for isn't going to be there."
As would be expected from the other BCS schools that were once in the mix for Mister, they have started to re-surface and attempt to start recruiting him again.
"I know Coach (Deland) McCullough from Indiana is going to be coming in for dinner with my family on Tuesday," Mister said. "Syracuse is also in the picture, but I haven't talked to them in about a week. They know I've been strongly committed. I talked to Michigan State about a week ago, but haven't set up any visits. It's really just Indiana at this point."
That's straight from a premium rivals article from 12/2 by Bill Seals, not irish illustrated, the same day he tweeted at one of our OL commits about being ready to block for him.
Mister is basically being neg recruited by big10 programs with no ethics, that is where the frustration comes from.
Glad this thread is still going. :dull:
I found it on cyclone report - had irishillustrated as the link.
Programs recruit committed kids 24/7. Same goes for poaching kids from losing programs or ones losing a head coach. Happens in all conferences.
Couple nuggets:
MSU board saying Mister reconsidering - looking at MSU and Indiana (really, Indiana, wtf)
ND Board says Lazard was at Iowa/ND bball game last night (no idea if this is true or not)
Bill Seals wrote the article with those quotes in it. Bill Seals writes for CR. And why didn't you post the last 3 paragraphs of the article where he says things such as "I don't see myself de-committing, unless we're just on the complete opposite page," Mister said. "I know Coach Rhoads is going to do everything he can to win games, so as long as Coach Messingham and Coach Pope get replaced by guys who can use me to the best of my ability, I don't see myself de-committing."?
You really didn't understand my previous post either. I said him being pushed by those other schools who are more than likely talking down about the school he committed to months ago is the reason for his stress/frustration with the process. Not that he's already decided to de-commit.
He had Coach Day in for a in home visit yesterday FWIW.
I didnt post the entire article b/c we aren't supposed to post entire articles.
I hope he ends up at ISU but honestly, hes not a make or break type recruit. There has been lots of talk that Mister's offer list is "greatly exaggerated". I think hes a nice piece to have, but not critical by any stretch.
Lazard is, though. Gotta keep this kid in Ames.
That may be your opinion but Mister is the type of running back we have been lacking for a long time. If he were to go elsewhere, there isn't anyone on the roster that is similar and highly doubtful we could find a comparable replacement.
Lazard isn't going anywhere.
Tommy Mister, if you watch his highlight videos, will instantly remind you of Ennis Haywood. That's the kind of back we've been missing here for some time.
Haywood was great at ISU and was starting to be great in the NFL. He would have had a nice career. No better way to honor his legacy then bring in another just like him!
