There is always chatter on here about the message board influencing recruits, tweets to them, etc. with differing opinions. But, we also know that people do come here to get "the feel" of the fan base. I'd be interested to know if there has ever been a true research study on college recruiting and factors influencing decisions. It's easy to throw out "it's too cold" or those types of things, but this could be a fascinating research study for those of you academic types looking for a good graduate research study.
Clinkscales committed to Nebraska the other day. Unless we have an epic sales pitch, I don't see it happening.
According to a 247 article I posted in a different thread, Elliott didn't make it to Urbandale the other day because of travel issues.

I don't know why anyone would want to play for Nebraska. It's clear that Bo Pelini is a d**khead, and just seems like a nasty human being.
According to La Gesse's twitter he was on the guest list at Urbandale. And I know we probably aren't going to get Clinkscales, but my point was it shouldn't surprised people other programs are still going after Mister.
Other teams wanting out commits is a good thing. Wouldn't want them unless they were talented. If our guys were not having other teams going after them (still) then I'd get worried. We are probably fighting for others and we don't even know it (yet).
Obviously others are still woo-ing Mister & Lazard.
Downing was recently offered by Penn State;
Josh Harris (JC LB Rhoads & Wally are both visiting at his home) recently picked up an offer from California - this guy is a target of ours, not a commit (YET!)
It's the nature of the game. So if Clinkscales reconsidered & changed, I wouldn't be too surprised (but I'd be elated).

wait, when did you become a mod? Did they just figure since you're on here all the time anyway you might as well supervise the cave folk?
I completely agree that it is great to have other schools wanting our guys...but this tweet, specifically the "stressful" part, makes it sound like his mind is not made up. It is not necessarily about other schools wanting him, but about him maybe wanting other schools.

Indiana's HC must be a heck of a recruiter. I can see why offensive players like Mister would want to play in that offense though.
