Tom Herman's Offense Implementation at OSU

Strange that neither are mentioned. Logical explanation is that for Meyer to blame the OC and COC is to blame himself. Not going to happen. TH is certainly not being praised for his contribution to the system (or learning the system).

Further, it is hard to imagine players in a program like Ohio State not even trying hard.

TH was a good guy and good coach, however he often made the mistake of out-coaching himself and over thinking everything. I truly believe that we will see marked improvement offensively due to the simplification of the offense. Thinning the play book will prove to be THE most effective thing that we have done offensively to increase productivity.

I agree Cyrider. Also, IMO, if this is just status quo for Meyer, then why is so damn upset with his offense? His players? Etc.

Well, around here Herman got the excuse of it taking years to implement his offense. Why wouldn't it be the same at tOSU, heck we were a closer match to what Herman wanted to do then they are right now. Herman is a smart offensive mind but IMO he was horrible at figuring out what his QB's were good at and sticking to it, he always seemed to try to get too cute and over think things.
