Congrats to a former Cyclone and I'm excited to see him back in Ames for the UNI-ISU game in 2013!

Awesome! In honor:

Blythe was a bit before my time. Some people have told me he was/is a tool others have said he is a really nice guy. Whos right? haha

Good for him. He was a real favorite of mine back in the day. Yes my back in the day in not that long ago

Good for him! Hopefully he ends up at ISU one day....Really got a raw deal towards the end of his time in Ames though....

Can't speak about him personally but he was the best ISU receiver that I've seen play. Hopefully he is a good coach and ends up here soon.

Ryan Kock was not underutilized.

The Mizzou game in '06 was a fluke, IMO. They hadn't prepared for him as an every down back, and there was just a crazy emotional thing going on with our team that day. We even got a call to go our way (there was obvious holding on the play, just not where it was called).

Simpson is an okay gig, but nothing compared to UNI. I think it's obvious he's trying to work his way up to Iowa State and I think he will one day.

So you're saying he's trying to work his way up the coaching ladder? Interesting theory......

I've also heard plenty of each.

He had like 80 yards against Colorado the week before as an every down back though too.
