Well, if you aren't, then you aren't. You brought it up in a response to someone who said he did deserve cancer.
Even reading about a person with political opinions is triggering to me.
I think a lot of people here are confusing Toby Kieth with Alan Jackson. Jackson was the one who made a ton of money off 9/11, Kieth donated all his profits, played a bunch of USO shows, etc etc.
I just know Red Solo Cup as the song every child I knew was obsessed with for a summer.

Before making these kinds of statements, you need to go and do some reading on the early history of Montana (as a territory and state). "Civilization" was a slow developing process. Cattle rustling, highwaymen, claim jumpers, murdering people to settle disputes, all were frequently brought to justice by hanging. It was the most common form of execution (at that time). If you are of the belief that hanging bad guys was only directed at African Americans, then you are not being historically honest.
Technically you could say that to a number of posters on this thread. Since they aren’t so close to Toby Keith yet make the posts they have. Just my two cents!

Right. A lot of white people were hanged in this country, and a good number of them were probably innocent of the accusations too.
Vague statements about hanging bad guys is an allusion to that era and way of life. Filming a video on the site of a racially motivated lynching is far more pointed and objectively interpreted as a racist gesture.
