Just think if we would have beaten Kentucky, what could have been....

I think we win the conference NEXT year. People need to remember that our current players are mostly going to get better and a few of them were pretty **** good already. I am just not seeing a team we should be afraid of at all. We will be deeper next year. Percy is going to play like andrew bynum, just not act like him I hope. And I think we do have 1 or more NBA caliber players on our team. Clyburn is going to destroy people. Our lineup will be extremely versatile. Maybe I am drinking kool aid, but I think this may be one of the most talented State teams I have seen.

While Missouri was a fantastic team last year, they played as they did out of necessity - not because they wanted to build a team with only two big men. They often got out-rebounded, but they made up for it because of Denmon, Pressey, Dixon, could push the tempo/ run transition like no other. Not many, if any coaches would CHOSE to recruit a team like that.

After all, this is about recruiting. I'll try to build a '12 Kentucky-like lineup any day of the week, only playing like '12 Mizzou if I have to.

The "Scottie Reynolds" Villanova teams did very well without any semblance of a center. Yeah they had Maurice Sutton, but he didn't do ****! Just saying, some teams excel even without size.

This.

I think everyone is forgetting that he is good enough to be an impact player right out of the gate. Plus I think percy becomes a double double guy this season. People seem to forget how good he was getting toward the end of the season. He is going to be a beast!

Barring injury, we are fine. We will have 4 good forwards plus a 6'7 wing that can play the 4 if needed.

Still think we are going to win the conference.

Do you know how hard it is to average a double double? Even Royce couldn't pull that off.

I think our last double double guy was some dude named Utoff.

Eric Bossi claimed on twitter that Toby Hegner committed to Creighton. Granted idk how hard we we're recruiting him, but its another big guy off the board that we DESPERATELY need. Not saying we need him exactly, but we are gonna be hurting even more next year than we are this year down in the paint.

Just for information, Creighton has landed three commits in 36 hours. Hope this link works...

So did Norfolk state outrebounding Mizzou 37-25 have absolutely no effect on the game?

I actually think next year may be a step back.

edit: I was a year off but I still disagree that we will win the conference. I'll take an NCAA bid right now and be tickled.

I am going to make a bold prediction and say that KU will again win the Big 12. Big 12 should be tough again next year. Top four teams are KU, Kstate, Texas, and ISU. Baylor will be good but they lost some very good players in Acy, Jones, and Miller. Surprise team of next year could be Okie state.

Win the conference?! What are you smoking? Good story bro.. I would predict a similar finish in the conference as last year, and that might be too generous.
