To ISU Fans...

Nebraska and Tom Osborne are to blame. Who else pulled the trigger?

We were warned 15 years ago when we were considering letting the Texas schools into the conference that this was going to be the end result. In essence, with our very own greed 15 years ago, WE pulled the trigger...

So, you are clairvoyant? ISU knew this was going to happen? How pathetic!

Just stop already with slamming ISU instead of putting the blame squarely where it belongs . . Tom Osborne and NU.

What do you mean clairvoyant? We were flat out warned this was going to happen.

Once again, if we were in their shoes, the smart move would be to do what they are doing.

Does UT deserve blame? Certainly.

Does NU deserve blame? Certainly. They voted against equal revenue sharing at every opportunity.

The difference between NU and UT? UT is taking most of their closest South friends to greener pastures. The reasons may be far from philanthropic, but thay are taking other along nonetheless. NU isn't taking any of their North friends along.

Right . . ISU is the pivot point for the North just like NU? Right?? NU unhinges the whole conference. ISU would have been a blip on the screen compared to NU.

But you still won't get it because you don't want to understand.

I said that if we swapped places.. meaning we would have their tradition, and therefore, their "unhinging" power. The smart move is still to go big 10. This is about watching your own back, not everyone else's

Okay you win pal. Now go jump on their bandwagon.

Take your pacifist . . gutless response over to Jamie Pollard's office and ask him if he agrees with you.

I'm not exactly happy about it, and I'm sure JP isn't either, but business is business. You seem to think that despite things in the headlines right now like USC paying off recruits college football is some sort of honorable agreement, when it's just big business.

I am a Nebraska Fan , I must say if the Big XII goes away I will miss the banter between us. I sit in Sec 22 row 8 seat 1 which is across the isle from the visiting section. The Clone's fans always made the game honest and always enjoyed chatting with you, and I have shared many of golden hops with you folks before and after games. If this plays out, I wish ISU all the best. I pulled up youtube today to watch some of those great moments over the past few days. I also pulled up clips of NU's darkest days of recent during Billy C's days at NU.

Some of you may still hate the Huskers and thats ok, becasue it's out of respect and I know this.

So to you ISU and ISU fans I know we have all had out ups downs and good and bad times together, but I never have not respected ISU or your fans, so this is my message to you. Good luck to you this year, and I hope the best for your program and fans. I hope to make it to Ames this year should this be the last game.

Thanks for all the memories for the past few years sitting across from you folks, you as fans are some of the most respectful people as fans I ever met.

Again good luck.

**** you!

IMO I hope that if Nebraska does leave for the Big 10 that the Big XII presidents get together and vote Nebraska out of the Big XII Conference effective immediately an hour after Nebraska makes their announcement to go. It only takes 9 votes and I think they would have that in the bag. Force Nebraska to be an independent and replace them immediately. Let's show those greedy ****** the same loyalty that they are about to show the conference as a whole. The Fuskers can suck it.
